Who is this Privacy Notice aimed at?

This notice is addressed to individuals (hereinafter also referred to as potential candidates) who have been contacted by Talentor Austria based on their published information on publicly accessible channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Xing, etc.).

We are Talentor Austria GmbH (hereafter referred to as “Talentor”) with a legal domicile in Vienna. We are an executive search company in Austria with international franchise partners. We specialize in searching for and advising executives in the top to middle management.

We have partners in the following locations who are themselves responsible for meeting GDPR regulations in their legal entities.

We process your personal data based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our overriding legitimate interest, in conjunction with Article 9(2)(e) GDPR (exception for data that has been manifestly made public), for the purpose of sourcing new candidates and preventing multiple approaches to the same candidate by different employees of Talentor Austria GmbH.

For this purpose, we process your first and last name, link to the respective platform profile (e.g., LinkedIn profile), and location.

Your data will be stored until the purpose of contacting you has been fulfilled, but no longer than 18 months, unless there is a legal basis for further processing.

Right to Object and Other Rights

You may object to the processing of your data at any time. You generally have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection. Please contact us using the details provided above. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
